Part 2 of 3 in "Our Trip Home"

Our second stop was in St. Louis. My Dad grew up in Missouri and was kind enough to put us in an awesome hotel so we could see some awesome sites. Here, out of order are the two views from the top of the arch. Which was so amazing!

We walked to Busch Stadium where the Cardinals play. There are rumors that you can drive by and see right into the field from your car. This is not completely true. Despite this lie, it was a cool looking stadium.

Perhaps the very coolest part was how while we were walking around Mark McGuire on his morning run breezed past. This is him.

This is a picture of a picture, of the making of the Arch. It's so amazing, and so much Narrower than you might think.
To get to the top you ride in an elevator shaped like a dryer drum. It fits 5 people very tightly. To get to the top it rocks back and forth. The women we rode with weren't exactly excited to be in such a small place so we got to know them very quickly to distract any motion sickness.
Jack wanted to take advantage of touching the Mississippi. That he did. It was as dirty as they say.

We loved St. Louis! It was so fun to go around. We wanted to take a tour of the Budweiser plant, but we didn't really have the time. So off we went in pursuit of home and the largest Cabellas. There were so many things to see, but alas, so little time

  2. Wow! That looks fun. We made end up there for school in the next year, so it's fun to see all that there is.
