Never before......

I have been living in Logan for about a year now. Jack and I have felt that making friends, for us, was a little difficult. It seemed if we thought we made some, they didn't want to do anything, they were just being friendly. Or they would do things, but then the chemistry wasn't there. Dating by pairs of twos has proven to be much harder than we expected.

HOWEVER NEVER BEFORE.......
have we had too many friends that we have been DOUBLE BOOKED!

Last night we were invited to dinner at Olive Garden with Kyle & Tess and Lyle & Britney (not sure how she spells her name.) Before diner started we discussed the love of the bread sticks and salad. I made a point to the tell the waitress that we would be needing a lot of bread sticks. I don't think she took me seriously, at least we deduced that she did not when the bread would be gone every time she came back. I personally ate so many that my I had 4 bits of my chicken parm. and 4 from my alfredo from my Tour of Italy and I was done, I could eat no more.

After that we went to our new friends Mack and Jessica to play games and then we went to Sherlock Holmes, which was quite good. We are all excited for the sequel. This new pair of friends has been married just as long as we have, mainly because we were married on the same day. He has a lot to say and she is very sweet.

In the end, it's finally starting to be pleasant to be here.

Our Quick Trip to Rexburg without pictures

Sunday and Monday we took off for Rexburg to visit our friends Shawn and Michelle. We didn't take any pictures because I was afraid they would think I was weird.

We had fun eating, playing LIFE the Wii and then watching some Heros. We took our stupid air mattress to sleep on, and wouldn't you know, it's a piece of Junk. In the end, we slept on the floor which wasn't so bad for me, but I think Jack had a harder time with it. However, he did get up earlier and go play Basketball with Shawn while Michelle and I had waffles and chatted.

Monday we saw Avatar! It was as good as we had hoped, but the 3D was sold out. We are debating seeing it again because we were excited about the 3D the most. We also ate at Red Robin where, thanks to Jesse and McKenzie, we quickly ordered our endless fries with the awesome onion ring sauce. I am still dreaming about those fries, mmmmm......

I wish Logan had a Red Robin.

One Final Thought

For Jack's birthday we went out with Jack's friends from school. We made him get on the saddle at Texas Roadhouse. He hated it, it was awesome!

Our Thanksgiving......in brief

This year we went to Highland with my side of the family for Thanksgiving.

After dinner, the plan was to go to see the lights with all the kids. However, they didn't want to go because they wanted to spend more time together, so they offered to clean up all of Thanksgiving if the adults went on their own. It was great, and a good idea because the place was packed and having 20 children with us would have been miserable.

JACK IS 24 TODAY!

Guess who has the internet again.....WE DO!

School starts tomorrow for Jack, I think he is excited. Well I am excited because he will have something to do. The month long break has been exceptionally long for him.

It's also Jack's birthday today! I have been awfully sick all day so he has been great to have a lame birthday. Our plan is to go out to Texas Roadhouse tomorrow with some of his buddies from school, so maybe their awesome food will make up for the lack of excitement around here. Luckily this morning we were in Highland with my Aunt's family and my Grandma, and they made a great breakfast.

Last night we went to Council Bluff's house and had out annual turkey dinner where Becca saved the day and came prepared with a special cupcake and candle, it's was wonderful!
